Since its official designation as a National Wild and Scenic River in 2000, the National Park Service, the White Clay Creek Steering Committee, and partner organizations have worked together to preserve watershed features that enhance water quality, natural resources and the over all quality of life. As residents, business owners, and visitors of the White Clay Valley, we are free to enjoy its unique benefits but we also share responsibility for maintaining the characteristics that keep the White Clay so special.
